su primer concierto fue en el chequers nightclub de Sydney en el día de Nochevieja de 1973, presentando por primera vez en vivo su primer tema can i sit next to you girl donde en ese entonces su vocalista dave evans de 21 años poco despues dave evans tuvo diversos enfados con los hermanos young que lo llevo a abandonar la banda sustituido por bon scott

Se lanzo en julio de 1974 siendo el unico sencillo que toco acdc con dave evans en el videoclip aparece la alineacion de ese entonce que eran Dave Evans (vocalista), Angus Young (guitarra electrica), Malcolm Young (guitarra rítmica), Rob Bailey (bajo) y Peter Clack (batería)
